Accessibility statement for the demonstration

• Keyboard first

  Every control is reachable and operable with a keyboard. A skip link is the first focusable element on every page, and focus is always visible.

• Status is never colour alone

  Review and release states carry a glyph and text as well as an amber or green tone. Only a genuinely released report is green.

• Charts have tables

  Every trend chart has a real date axis and a table alternative with the same values, units, laboratory, and verification status.

• Landmarks and headings

  One H1 per page, labelled navigation, main, and footer regions, and headings that follow the reading order.

• Contrast and size

  Text and interactive states are checked against a 4.5:1 target; body text is 16px with 14px dense tables and nothing smaller than 12px.

HTML first, PDF second

The released report’s HTML view is the primary accessible artifact. The PDF is rendered from the same document with selectable text and page numbers, but its reading order and tagging have not been assessed against PDF/UA, and no PDF/UA conformance is claimed.

Known limits

Automated and keyboard checks run in the test suite; a full assistive-technology review has not been performed. Because this is a local demonstration there is no support channel — issues are recorded in the project’s own tracker.
